How do I get clients?+
Consumers search Craftly by service type and location. When someone near you searches for what you do, your profile appears with your portfolio, reviews, rates, and availability. They browse, choose you, and send a connection request. Your profile works for you 24/7 — even while you're busy doing great work.
What if I don't get enough connections?+
Start on the Free plan — it costs nothing and gives you 5 connections per month. There's zero risk. If Craftly works for you, upgrade to Expert or Pro for more connections and features. If it doesn't, you haven't spent a dime.
How does identity verification work?+
Verification is optional but highly recommended. You submit a government-issued photo ID through our secure partner (Stripe Identity). We match the photo to your profile — this earns you a verified badge that builds consumer trust. Your ID is never stored or shared.
Can I set my own rates?+
Always. You set your hourly rate, and it shows on your profile. There's no algorithm adjusting your prices, no race-to-the-bottom bidding, and no pressure to undercut other providers. Your rate, your call.
How do payments work?+
Craftly doesn't process payments between you and your clients. After you connect, you handle payments however you prefer — cash, Venmo, invoice, whatever works for both of you. We never take a cut of the work itself.
What's the cancellation policy?+
Cancel anytime from your billing page. Your subscription continues through the end of your current billing period (quarterly), and you keep all your features until then. No cancellation fees, no contracts, no hassle.
Is there a contract or commitment?+
No contracts. Craftly bills quarterly ($15 for Expert, $30 for Pro), and you can cancel anytime. The Free plan never expires — you can use it indefinitely with no obligation to upgrade.
